NATAS Northwest Board of Governors
Citation for Outstanding Community Engagement
The NATAS Northwest Board of Governors plans to award up to three special Citations – one in each market within our region of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington to honor outstanding community service work. This award recognizes the broadcast company(s) ability to focus interest on, and marshal support for, a cause important to the appropriate service area. This award is not for intended for projects designed for brand enhancement. The NATAS Northwest Board reserves the right to reject any entries which do not meet that definition.
The Board invites broadcast stations, both news and non-news broadcast stations, to apply for this special recognition. There is no fee for entering this award. Submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. PST, Friday February 12, 2021.

Market Size 1-20,
Market Size 21-80
Market Size 81+
For a project/campaign to be considered, the entrant must complete this form and submit it with:
A maximum 500-word description of the project, including measured impact AND
A maximum 15-minute video composite of the project, including only material as aired.
No introductions, post-production, montages, music or special effects may be added.
One Citation for Outstanding Community Engagement will be awarded to the broadcast station.

Submissions will be judged by nonprofit professionals with no conflict of interest. The NATAS Northwest Board of Governors will vote on the judges’ recommendations and will present the Citations at the Emmy Awards on June 5, 2021.
