Northwest High School winners announced in the National Student Production Awards

Los Angeles, CA – Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017

Winners of the 2nd Annual competition of The National Student Production Awards were announced at Emerson College in Los Angeles, CA, hosted by television personality, Tom Bergeron.

The Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) presents this competition annually which includes 23 programming and craft categories honoring student productions from across the country. The event was live streamed on the Academy’s social media channels and website. A full list of winners can be found here and on the Academy’s website.

“The recognition of these talented young men and women is one of the most important things the Academy does,” said, Bob Mauro, President & CEO, NATAS. “It is in the hands of these honorees that we will entrust the future of our great industry and by the level of talent seen here, we’re on the way to a very bright tomorrow!”

 
Northwest High School nominees announced in the National Student Production Awards

Award recipients from our Northwest High School were submitted to the National Student Production Awards. These award winning entries were judged with other award winning high school entries from NATAS chapters around the country. Dick Splitstone 1952 - 2017

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of our Immediate Past President, Dick Splitstone.

A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m., June 17 at Brightwater Center, 22502 State Route 9 SE, Woodinville, Washington. Contributions may be made in his name by check to the NATAS Northwest Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 58530, Seattle, WA 98138-1530.
