| Cleven has worked in the television broadcast industry since 1974. His work began at PBS (Public Broadcasting System) affiliate, KCTS 9, in Seattle, Washington when the station moved from black and white to color. He has also freelanced at KING 5 Television's Evening Magazine editing on Sony's XPRI HD system. As a Producer/Composer and Emmy Award winning High Definition (HD) Editor, he has received numerous honors and recognition from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for his contribution to scores of Emmy Award winning films. His work included involvement with the Technical/Production team for one of North Americas first cross-platform enhanced television broadcast, “Buffet and Gates on Success". And, with North America's first HD/NTSC "live" symphonic broadcast, "The Opening of the Benaroya Music Hall" in Seattle. Cleven served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Integy Entertainment, and helped launch a national telecast, Your Music Network: The Independent Experience featuring innovative local and national talent. |
