After a tremendous Emmy Awards event in June at the Snoqualmie Casino, we hope you are enjoying the summer with your friends and family. Your Board of Governors is hard at work preparing our Call for Entries for next year’s Emmy Awards and setting the priorities for the upcoming year and our 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2013. Our thanks to all of you who have volunteered your time to serve as peer judges this month for the Rocky Mountain Southwest chapter. It is your willingness to participate that keeps our organization going strong across the country. And as always, we want you to make the most of your NATAS membership. Get involved. Suggest a program, volunteer to mentor a young journalist or simply take time to appreciate excellent journalism wherever you find it.
