It’s hard to believe it’s actually that time again! Look for the Call for Entries for the 46th Annual Northwest Regional Awards. And while you’re at it, go ahead and mark your calendars now: Saturday June 6th, 2009. That’s when we’ll celebrate excellence in broadcasting with the Emmy Awards. I’m happy to announce the Cashman team of Pat and son, Chris, will host and produce the event. I can’t wait to see what they come up with this year. But first things first, it’s time to decide which stories and programs you’ll be entering. Last year we had a record number of entries. I think that’s a testament to the quality work we do in the Northwest. We’re proud of the work we do and for good reason. As always, it’s a pleasure to lead this organization. I’m especially grateful to the hardworking NATAS board members from the Northwest, who volunteer their time and talents, to carry out our mission: to honor excellence.
