Thank you to those of you attending the 45th Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards. What an incredible night! With the induction of Chris Wedes into the Gold Circle, and three remarkable additions to the Silver Circle, Peter Morrill, Kathi Goertzen and Aaron Brown, there can be little doubt about the level of talent in Northwest broadcasting. A special thanks to the incredible team of Chris and Pat Cashman. Pat and Chris proved their coolness in crisis. Any of us who do live TV know what can happen when one tape isn't there - well, it gets even more interesting when several are missing. We are sorry that you didn't get to see the winning clips of the Advanced Media Emmy Awards, and some of the other categories. The amazing team from KCTS worked frantically in the truck to get things back on track. When the clips aren't on the reel - there is nothing you can do but move ahead. Yes, the show must go on! Thanks to a fantastic crew, producer and host who truly made the best of a situation that was not of their making and completely out of their hands. It made for an entertaining night!
