What a night! Emmy night. I hope everyone had a great time, and congratulations again to all the nominees and winners. What a year! And now I get to begin my second year as President of the Board of the Northwest Chapter. I am honored to serve you and look forward to another incredible year. I can’t thank your Board of Governors enough for all the hours they put in. We have a talented and hard working board that was responsible for the 2007 Emmy Celebration, and of course, much much more. We did something this year that we’ve never done. We streamed the Emmy Awards Ceremony so people could see it live, and, afterwards. A special thanks to Ross Davis, General Manager of Seattle Community College Television, for making it happen. We’re also very pleased that Ross has joined us on the NATAS board. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! We’re looking for people to judge now...and our Awards Co-Chair, Dan Ibabao wants to hear from you to help judge emmys for the region that judged our entries.
